Understanding of Child Psychology at school level
School is a second home for children. Generally, they spend approximately 12 to 18 years of an early stage that is foundation age of Individuals life. School life is categorized into three stages:
•    Elementary Stage
•    Secondary Stage
•    Senior Secondary Stage
After home, school is the first institution for children where they start learning all aspects of life skills and gain their necessary knowledge.
The psychology of children is varied at different stages.
At the primary level, the child starts schooling so they required too much needing mental, social, behavioral, cognitive support to counter adjustment issue from home to school. At this stage, the child rarely wants to go to school but it is also true that this is the foundation stage where the child learns basic life skills, good and bad things. Definitely, learning at this stage is stored at the unconscious mind that can be said is permanent traits. The child learns adjustment techniques, behavioral aspects, social skills, basic life skills. Children develop their intellectual traits like personality, interest, etc., may be knowing or unknowingly.
At a secondary level, the child has grown up and entered into adolescent phase. Child focused on self-recognition. They concerned about their career. Personal and educational guidance is much required at this stage to stabilize the child who undergoes through physical changes and mental instability.  Kids become attention seeker, mentally unstable, attracted towards the opposite sex, develop various unwanted behaviors and thoughtful towards career orientation. If proper guidance not provided at this stage that affects their performances and behavioral developments.
At the final stage of schooling is again very crucial for children. They progressed into a late adolescent phase in which they acquired emotional independencies from parents, love to meet new peoples and make friends. The child starts preparation for occupation, acquiring a set of values, attraction towards the opposite sex and selecting partners. The physical growth and psychological changes take place. Children demand more independencies and desire to adopt the adult way of behaviors and lifestyles, etc. This stage is full of growth, promises, excitement, and hope. On other hand, children face frustration, disappointment, and stress conflicts also. Here, the student starts to explore all aspects of life. They need to prepare to leave school and plan to enter the larger world. Another aspect of this stage is getting membership in the peer group. For adolescents, the peer group holds an important place. Hence, understanding of child psychology is very important in counseling and guidance aspects.
