Artificial intelligence

We all know that Education sets the foundation of human behavior and Technology has become an integral part of education system specially classrooms, just like blackboards and chalk.
Children (and adults) are increasingly using portable devices and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) classes are becoming part of national and local curriculum around the world.
Digital learning solutions equipped with artificial intelligence are making revolutionary changes to the way education is imparted to students with varied interests and capabilities.
Artificial intelligence in education can be considered both facilitator and  partner : teachers, students and AI collaborate with one aim: increasing the knowledge of the student in the most efficient and pleasant way.
The true goal of artificial intelligence in education is to combine the best of human and machine for the benefit of the learner.
Problem is Artificial Intelligence holds significant promise to revolutionize our educational systems, but are our educational systems ready for a revolution?
From kindergarten to graduate school, one of the key ways artificial intelligence will impact education is through the application of greater levels of individualized learning by student’s particular need . Some of this is already happening through growing numbers of adaptive learning programs, games, and software. These systems respond to the needs of the student, putting greater emphasis on certain topics, repeating things that students haven’t mastered, and generally helping students to work at their own pace, whatever that may be.
As AI gets more sophisticated, it might be possible for a machine to read the expression that passes on a student’s face that indicates they are struggling to grasp a subject and will notify a lesson to respond to that.
Schools are one focus of the agenda, but how are teacher education programs in universities preparing pre-service teachers for this future? Are we considering questions of AI in our preparation programs? If we need to lift the skill levels of all school students to work in an AI world then we need to make changes to accommodate AI in school curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, workload and teacher professional learning.
Apart from the core teaching role, teachers often handle several mundane administrative responsibilities such as student attendance management, artificial intelligence allows automation of these tasks so that teachers can play their real role- to be the motivator and guiding force for learners and this could lead to a significant rise in quality of education and reshape the future. Teachers can also open up opportunities for global networking – making classrooms accessible for students around the world. This means students, who may not be able to access physical classrooms, could still participate in a virtual learning environment to benefit from a good education.

AIEd does have the potential to tackle some of the biggest challenges we have in education today, such as addressing achievement gaps, enhancing teacher expertise, as well as addressing teacher retention and teacher shortages5. Eventually AIEd may lead to a complete reform of, perhaps even a revolution in, our educational systems.
There is conclusive international evidence that we are at a very critical moment for setting clear directions for AIEd in school education and hence CODE Pvt. Ltd. started AI based programs in 10 schools as curriculum to see the impact as well as its acceptability in education eco-system. We could realize great results in terms of projects executed by school students using our programs with lots of creativity and delivered best result.
“With the rise of AI, the possibilities are endless and the sky is the limit. Let’s give it a try!”
