How to develop soft skills and hard skills in younger minds?

How to develop soft skills and hard skills in younger minds?

Opinion: Dr. Sekar srinivasan, Dr. Balasubramanian and Azeez

• Dr. Balasubramanian: First parents should change the mindset  of making kids with packing system like school - tution - weekend classes so on except sleeping hours ( may be in future that to they make a time table) and making mindset is only studying is the prime job and not even tell to do any  works.
Teach them, how to talk, how to converse, how to behave with visitors, so on.

Please give a free time, free space to mingle with relatives, mingle with friends, talk/chat with friends/ relatives  doing some domestic activities, attending maximum family and domestic function and domestic activites like fine motor skills (cleaning, washing, cutting vegetables so on) ans  gross motos skills , like cleaning house, cleaning fan, windows, vehicles if (2/ 3/4 wheeler)if have so on in a periodic time weekly or monthly once so on.

• Azeez: Use Technology to Enhance Your Students’ learning and career development (Hard and Soft Skills)

How to make use of technology in students' life?

° Encourage teamwork

° Develop critical thinking skills

° Inculcate responsibility

° Evaluate students with online education portfolios

° Develop genuine learning experiences

° Help students engage with bosses

° Develop independence and self-regulation

° Aid in skill development and self-assessment

° Develop digital literacy

Technology is often used as a tool to make education easier, but it can also be a tool to help enhance students career development.

• Dr. Sekar srinivasan: Basic arithmetic,  tables, language  vocabulary skills, and analytical skills foundations should be taught with clarity in younger age.

Then mind mapping and flowcharting any given situation or observations should be taught and tested. Then problem solving skills should be taught from basics.

By this time the child will be in eighth standard. Then real time problems should be given  for software and hardware skills in order can be mastered.
